Fill your empty rehearsal slots from Google

Local SEO for rehearsal studios, from a drummer who has spent 20 years in rooms like yours. When a band nearby searches “rehearsal space near me,” your studio should be one of the three they see in Google Maps.

An example week in one room. The gaps are the slots search can fill.

Bands search for rooms every day

These are monthly searches from musicians looking for a place to rehearse. For most of them, Google shows a map with three studios before any website. Those three get the calls.

What I work on

Three things decide whether a band finds your studio and books it. I handle all three.

  • Your Google Business Profile

The right categories, your rooms and rates, real photos of the rooms, accurate hours, and a steady flow of reviews. This is what puts you in the map.

  • Your website

Pages a band can decide from: room sizes, backline and gear lists, hourly and monthly rates, load-in and parking, and how to book. Plus the technical fixes and schema markup so Google reads it correctly.

  • Tracking

Calls, booking clicks, and search performance, set up in Search Console, Google Analytics, and Tag Manager. You see which bookings came from search.

Why a drummer does this

I've played in the Serbian underground scene since 2006, including with Oružjem Protivu Otmičara and Senshi, and toured the former Yugoslavia and Japan. I've rehearsed and recorded at Playground, Music Home, and Nox Studio in Belgrade. Since 2024, I've kept the gear log for a room shared by five bands.

So I know what a band checks before it books a room, because I check it too:

  • Is the kit any good, and can I bring my own snare and cymbals?
  • Is backline included in the price?
  • Can we lock in the same slot every week?
  • Is there parking and an easy load-in?
  • Can I book at 11 p.m. without calling anyone?

When your Google profile and website answer these, the band doesn't need to call around. I write that part from experience, not from a template.

Results I've delivered

I'm the only SEO specialist at a US agency for fitness and wellness businesses, and I run every client's SEO from strategy to execution. Three examples from that work:

How the free audit works

  1. Send me your studio

Your studio's name, website, and city. It takes two minutes.

  2. I check your searches

I look at what bands in your area search, where you show up in Google Maps for those searches, and what your Google profile and website are missing.

  3. You get a written audit

A short list of fixes in priority order, with a fixed monthly price if you want me to do them. The audit is yours to keep either way.

FAQs

Do you work with studios outside the US?

Yes. I work with rehearsal studios in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Ireland, and New Zealand. Everything is done remotely.

How much does it cost?

It depends on how many locations and rooms you have. The audit is free, and it comes with a fixed monthly price before you commit to anything.

How long before I see results?

The results above came over 6 to 12 months. Fixes to your Google Business Profile can show up in Maps sooner, but I won't promise a date.

Do you also work with recording studios?

Yes. Many rehearsal studios also record, and I cover both sides of the business.

Will I need a new website?

Usually not. I work on the site you already have. If it's holding you back, the audit will say so.
